Aside from that, you can enjoy fun winter experiences like dog sledding, sleigh rides, and so much more. Though before you go, learn to properly layer your winter clothes and brace yourselves as the temperature in this city can go as low as -38 degrees celsius. 



Sa Pa, Vietnam




Snow in a tropical country? Quite unbelievable, isn’t it? But it’s true. Northern parts of Vietnam have also been blessed with getting a great snowy experience this time of year. One of the best places to catch it is in the town of Sa Pa, whose verdant rice terraces become an enchanting landscape lined with white snow during winter. Plan your visit from late December to January to increase chances of witnessing a frost-covered scenery. You won’t find winter activities such as skiing and such here, but learning more about the diverse cultures of the minorities living in the area makes for an especially unforgettable trip.
